The following is a press release from the Pine City School District:
"Pine City's School Board Clerk, Wally Connaker, has been selected for the prestigious "All-State School Board" by the Minnesota State School Boards Association. He is one of seven who will be honored at a luncheon at the MSBA Leadership Conference in Minneapolis on January 16, 2020. He will be accompanied by his wife, Jane; daughter, Christa; and several other Pine City board members.
Connaker has been affiliated with the Pine City Public Schools for 50 years, having served as a social studies teacher, coach, activities director, and for three terms on the school board. Selection for this award is based not only on the individual's work on the local board, but also his/her continued participation in professional development plus involvement in regional and state-wide educational issues."
