East Central Regional Development Commission Update
An update was given this week on Pine County’s membership with a regional commission.
The East Central Regional Development Commission Executive Director Robert Voss spoke on a program to help business owners who are looking to retire.
Voss went on to update citizens with some of the other programs the commission has and will continue to do.
The East Central Regional Development Commission offers many different services to businesses in Chisago, Isanti, Kanabec, Mille Lacs, and Pine Counties.
Master Gardener
The last chance to join this year’s Master Gardener Program in local counties is coming up.
The Master Gardener program is an opportunity to take a college horticulture course.
It is for anyone with an interest in gardening and who is willing to share their knowledge and experience with others.
The cutoff date for the program is October first, and you can sign up right here.
The program is open to local county citizens of Chisago, Isanti, Kanabec, Mille Lacs, and Pine.
NB Art Festival Stuff
A craft fair this weekend in North Branch is hosting a group of vendors with activities as well.
The North Branch Chamber of Commerce has a Silent Auction, food vendors and many types of craft vendors.
The fair is held from 9 am until 4 pm in North Branch.
