Two students have been arrested after they assaulted a Braham Police Officer.
According to a release from the police department, at 2:18 p.m. on March 7 Detective Stahl was notified by Braham High School staff of a disturbance involving two female juvenile students.
Detective Stahl arrived on scene and attempted to direct the students to an office to speak with them. One student became physically combative requiring the detective to physically direct them. The other student then attacked the detective causing Detective Stahl to call for help. The responding officer used minimal force to subdue the student.
Both juveniles were arrested and booked for disorderly conduct. In addition to the charges, the students were arrested on outstanding warrants for aggravated assault and disorderly conduct in Wisconsin.

"On March 7th, 2019 at approximately 2:18pm, Detective Stahl was notified by staff at Braham High School of a disturbance involving two female juvenile students ages 17 & 15. The Detective arrived on scene and attempted to direct the two juveniles into an office area to speak with them and to protect the privacy of students. One juvenile was physically combative requiring the detective to physically direct the student. At that time, the other student physically attacked the detective. The detective called for help. The responding officer gave multiple verbal commands to the juvenile who did not comply. The officer used a minimal amount of force to subdue the student. One officer sustained minor injuries. No Ambulance or EMS responded.
Both were arrested and been booked into a juvenile detention center. Both the juveniles were booked for disorderly conduct and one for obstructing legal process. In addition to charges stemming from today’s event, the juveniles were arrested on warrants outstanding from Wisconsin for aggravated assault and disorderly conduct. The investigation is active and ongoing.
