The Dragons girls basketball team traveled to Ogilvie last night to take on the Lions.
The Lions came into this game sitting at 6-5 hoping to give the Dragons their first conference loss and move up in the conference standings. But the Dragons were too strong and made sure to keep their perfect conference record in tacked. Pine City won big over the Lions 90-36. The Dragons were lead by Ellie Hasz who had 33 points in the win. She was followed by Alaina Steele with 13, Sophie Lahti with 12, and Kloey Lind with 11. This is the 14th game in which Pine City has had at least 3 or more players score in double digits.
With the win Pine City improves to 14-1 on the season. They will host the #15 team in the state, Duluth Marshall tomorrow at 1pm.
