Wolves Defeat the Bombers

The Braham Bomber girls traveled to Milaca to face the Wolves in a matchup of two of the top-tiered teams in our area on Tuesday night. Both teams came into the night at 5-2 while playing very difficult schedules.

Milaca threw the first punch starting the game on a 13-2 run. They never relinquished the lead throughout the game, beating Braham 58-43. Madison Gothmann led all scores with 24. Annabelle Gothmann added 17.

Braham was not without some success. Facing a tough “pack”-like defense from the Wolves, the Bombers were able to keep pace with Milaca the rest of the way. Morgan Rysdam led Braham with 15 points followed by senior Jenna Beck who had nine points.

Braham will host Upsala on January 2nd.

Milaca will travel to St. Cloud Cathedral on January 6th.
