Fall playoffs have begun! Let’s see how our volleyball teams fared and who they’ll play. Class A Section 4 (6) Braham 9-17 The Bombers finished strong and earned a six-seed in their section. Playoffs for the fall season has begun! Here’s a look at how our local teams fared and who they’ll play! 9-Player Section 5 (3) Ogilvie 6-2 The Lions earned the third seed in their section. They will host Verndale on Tuesday night. Ogilvie defeated the Pirates 42-14 back on September 19th. (4) Mille Lacs 6-2 Mille Lacs claimed the fourth seed in the section. Mora accepts treasurer's resignation; taps Kohlgraf as temporary city administrator
The Mora City Council and Public Utilities Commission accepted the resignation of treasurer Charles Hippen-Koch at a special meeting on Oct. 14. According to the draft minutes of the meeting, the council and PUC held a closed session to discuss allegations made against Hippen-Koch. Former Milaca public works employee files lawsuit against city
A former Milaca public works department employee filed a lawsuit against the city on Oct. 1, seeking a jury trial and alleging the city violated the Minnesota Whistleblower Act and Occupational Safety and Health Act.
