'25 Football Playoff Outlook

Playoffs for the fall season has begun!


Here’s a look at how our local teams fared and who they’ll play!


9-Player

Section 5


(3) Ogilvie 6-2

The Lions earned the third seed in their section. They will host Verndale on Tuesday night. Ogilvie defeated the Pirates 42-14 back on September 19th.


(4) Mille Lacs 6-2

Mille Lacs claimed the fourth seed in the section. They will host Sebeka on Tuesday night. Mille Lacs earned a victory over the Trojans on September 19th.


Class A

Section 7


(2) Braham 6-2

The Bombers earned the second seed in their section. They will host Chisholm on Tuesday night. Braham defeated the Bluestreaks 53-14 back on September 19th


(6) Hinckley-Finlayson 1-7

The Jaguars were put in the sixth spot in their section. They will travel to Mountain Iron-Buhl on Tuesday night. This will be the first meeting for these two teams this season.


(8) East Central 0-8

The Eagles are the eighth seed in their section despite some late season improvements. They will travel to Barnum on Tuesday night. East Central fell to the Bombers 56-8 on September 26th.


Class AA

Section 4


(2) Rush City 5-3

The Tigers earned the second seed in the section. They will host Kenyon-Wanamingo on Tuesday night. Rush City and the Knights have yet to play each other this season.


Class AAA

Section 5


(3) Foley

The Falcons picked up the third seed in their section. They will host Milaca on Tuesday night. Foley defeated the Wolves 42-12 back on October 3rd.

(4) Pine City 2-6

The Dragons earned the fourth seed with a strong late-season push. They will host Mora on Tuesday night. Pine City defeated Mora 20-0 on October 3rd.


(5) Mora 1-7

The Mustangs were slotted in the five-hole in their section. They will travel to Pine City on Tuesday night. Mora fell to the Dragons 20-0 back on October 3rd.


(6) Milaca 1-7

The Wolves are the sixth seed in their section. They will head to Foley on Tuesday night.Milaca fell to the Falcons 42-12 on October 3rd.


Class AAAA

Section 3


(6) Chisago Lakes 1-7 

The Wildcats have the sixth seed in their section. They will travel to North St. Paul on Tuesday night. Chisago Lakes lost to the Polars 36-20 on October 10th.


Section 7


(3) North Branch 6-2

The Vikings picked up the third seed in the section. They will host Rock Ridge on Tuesday night. Chisago Lakes beat the Wolverines 44-6 back on September 19th.


Section 8


(3) Princeton 2-6

The Tigers earned the third seed in their section. They will host Little Falls on Tuesday night. This will be the first meeting of the season for these two teams.


Class AAAAA

Section 7


(3) Cambridge-Isanti 4-4

The Bluejackets picked up the three-seed in their section. They will have a bye in the first round, and will travel to Elk River on Saturday. Cambridge-Isanti fell to Elk River 51-19 back on September 26th.
