Northwest Alliance Community Foundation Fundraiser in Siren

A local Foundation is hosting a Fundraiser Fair this Friday night.

The Northwest Alliance Community Foundation is putting on its second annual Friend Raiser Fund Raiser Fair in Siren.

Board Chair Renee Nanez explained that the goal of the night is to help local non-profits get to know each other and spread awareness of their accomplishments in the region.

Nanez added that it’s an interactive event.

The Friend Raiser Fund Raiser Fair in Siren is this Friday from 5-8 pm at the Tesora Event Center in Siren.

Hinckley Propane Facility

Hinckley is in talks to build a substantial propane facility.

The complex would be built off of Highway 61 by Beaver Meadow Garden Center and Napa Auto Parts.

It would cover 26 acres and would eventually hold 90,000 gallons of propane.

Hinckley was chosen due to its central location near I-35 and Highway 23.

Air Show in RC

An Airshow Event is taking flight in Rush City.

The Rush City Regional Airport is hosting its Fly in/ Drive in this Sunday, June 11th.

Featuring a pancake breakfast, classic car show, and airplane rides, the event is a popular one for Rush City.

There will also be a raffle to win a ride in a T-28 Air Force plane.

Finlayson Stabbing Charges

A Moose Lake woman has been charged after stabbing her boyfriend and hitting him in the head with a frying pan.

20-year-old Daron Rose Mainville has been charged with 1 count of first degree assault and 3 counts of 3rd degree assault.

The victim, Damian Skaggs, was treated for what was classified as life threatening injuries.
