The Pine City Tennis defeated Foley 5-2 late last week to earn the Granite Ridge Conference Title. This is the first time that Pine City has won the Granite Ridge Conference and the first time the Dragons have won any conference championship since 2008. With the success Pine City has had this season, the Dragons have earned a top 10 ranking in the state and are also the favorites to come out of their section.
The Dragons earned a first round bye in the playoffs and will compete in the semi-finals on May 21st.t
