Pine City sophomore Ellie Hasz reached a career milestone last night scoring her 1,000th career point. Hasz tallied 31 points in the Dragons 78-46 win over North Branch. Reaching 1,000 career points is a goal every high school basketball player sets when they start their career and being able to reach that goal as just a sophomore is quite the feat for Hasz.
Pine City improved to 15-3 on the season with the win and are coming up on a big section game this Saturday at Sauk Centre. The Mainstreeters are 14-2 on the season and are widely considered to be one of the best teams in the state.
